COREu EU project: Two days in Brussels for the expected annual meeting.
On March 18 and 19 2025, around 100 representatives from the 43 partners of the COREu EU project met in Brussels for the annual meeting, organized by the coordinator SINTEF.
These two intensive days provided a valuable opportunity to discuss the project's progress and outline future plans. Through engaging discussions, stimulating workshops, and targeted presentations, participants were able to delve into key topics and strengthen collaborative synergies.
The COREu EU project
COREu is one of the largest European research and innovation project dedicated to Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS).
What’s his goal?
Accelerate the transition to a low-carbon future by aiming for significant CO2 reductions of 6.8 Mt/year by 2035 and 36 Mt/year by 2050.
How?
Demonstrating the effectiveness of key technologies for the entire CCS supply chain in Europe and developing new projects that link CO2 sources to storage sites.

DOMINA NEXT ON COREu EU PROJECT
Our Domina Next team also had the opportunity to participate in these two days, which once again served as concrete proof of the consortium's collaboration and the passion each partner dedicates daily to achieving their goals with extreme professionalism and dedication.
Our team showcased the progress made in recent months, particularly our fundamental role in knowledge transfer among the professionals involved. This was made possible through our Learning Management System "C4L" platform, dedicated to disseminating training content via Learning Nuggets – short knowledge extracts – and online courses.
We also created the COREu website, a comprehensive reference point for all project information and news, and developed various communication templates, including models for PowerPoint presentations, flyers, posters, and communication templates for the project's social media profiles.
